With this plant's world distribution limited to a mere 5 acres, split between the San Francisco Presidio and the Oakland Hills, EBCNPS has taken on the responsibility to help preserve this delicate purple annual limited to serpentine soils.  Please see the articles and information below to learn more about protecting this federally endangered species.
